Brain Fitness is the foundation for change readiness programs in business

In preparation for a large scale change initiative, one large Australian business realised that traditional approaches to change management would not fully prepare leaders or employees to work in an entirely new way.

We worked with executives and senior mangers to design an integrated approach to change readiness that was informed by the most recent neuroscience.  Focusing on building individual brain fitness including self-awareness, resilience and flexible thinking enabled team members to more comfortably and effectively meet challenges associated with the change.

As leaders came to know that the brains natural defence/protection system is activated during times of change, they adjusted their leadership approach early in the process. Likewise, their deeper understanding and ability to predict emotional reactions put them in a position to better assist employees to remain productive despite significant changes in the work environment.
